Guy Ritchie has opened up about his marriage to Madonna - insisting he is "invigorated by her creativity" and her philosophical views.
The showbiz couple's union has been under intense media scrutiny in recent weeks, amid rumours they are on the verge of a divorce.
Both Ritchie and Madonna have denied a rift - maintaining they are still happily married.
And the director insists that he loves his wife because he finds her creativity and enthusiasm refreshing - and admits the pair often indulge in deeply philosophical conversations.
He says: "I believe my wife to be very creative and there seems to be no end to the desire to be creative; I find that invigorating and interesting. (We) have conversations, some deep, some shallow. We are all philosophers. It's impossible to live life and not be a philosopher. It's just that some people have thought about some things more than others."
