McEntee receives Devlin support

Armagh forward John McEntee may miss out on the All-Ireland football final if hit with a heavy ban from the GAC tonight but the centre-forward received fulsome support from Tyrone's Gavin Devlin.

Armagh forward John McEntee may miss out on the All-Ireland football final if hit with a heavy ban from the GAC tonight but the centre-forward received fulsome support from Tyrone's Gavin Devlin.

McEntee, who will mark Devlin if he starts on Sunday week, caught Donegal's Barry Monaghan with a forearm smash during their semi-final and video evidence could see him suspended like Devlin was earlier this summer.

Devlin said: "For him to miss the All-Ireland final because of an incident like that would be totally unbelievable. If we can't beat Armagh with John McEntee in the team then we don't deserve to win the All-Ireland.”
