Will Smith will release his next album a few days before the release of Men In Black 2 in America.

Will Smith will release his next album a few days before the release of Men In Black 2 in America.

The as-yet-untitled album will be Smith's first since Willennium, which was released in 1999.

It will go on sale in America on June 25.

Nod Ya Head will be the first single to be released from the album, and is featured in Men In Black 2.

''I've recorded about 30 songs already,'' Smith tells www.ew.com ''and I like about eight of them.'

''Two weeks in the studio, and I'm up to speed,'' he says.

'My slang is current, I'm hip to the new-style drums, and I'm back in synch.''

Men In Black 2 will be released in UK cinemas on August 2.
