Grant assistant leaves Hammers

West Ham have announced that they have parted company with assistant manager Zeljko Petrovic.

West Ham have announced that they have parted company with assistant manager Zeljko Petrovic.

The 45-year-old only joined the club in July to serve under manager Avram Grant but has now seemingly paid the price for the club’s poor start to the season.

The Hammers are bottom of the Barclays Premier League with just nine points from their 14 games so far.

A brief statement on the club’s website, whufc.com, read: “The club would like to wish Zeljko for his efforts during his four months at the Boleyn Ground and wish him well for the future.”
