Three men in court tomorrow to answer drug charges over seizures worth €150,000

Three men are due to appear in court tomorrow morning charged in connection with two separate drugs seizures over the weekend.

Cocaine, ecstasy and heroin were found during the operations.

Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit and Clontarf Gardai recovered one kilo of what is believed to be cocaine following the search of a flat in Clontarf yesterday evening.

The drugs are thought to be worth up to €70,000.

Two men, aged 52 and 58 were arrested at the scene. They will be charged in relation to the incident at Dublin District court in the morning.

Meanwhile, another man will appear before the courts in the morning in connection with another seizure in the west of the city.

The drugs were recovered when Gardai stopped and searched a car on Neilstown Avenue in Clondalkin in the early hours of this morning.

A man who was in the car was found to have 16 ecstasy tablets and a small amount of heroin.

Gardai seized just less than one kilo of heroin during a follow up search of a house in the area.

The drugs have a street value of around €150,000.
