Shels came back from the dead to stay five points clear in the title race.

Rovers began well and deservedly ran up a 2-0 interval lead with goals from Stephen Grant, on 12 minutes, and a second from Glen Fitzpatrick, eigth minutes before the break, as Shels struggled to get into the game.

A rousing half time chat from boss Pat Fenlon clearly had an effect on Shels and they stormed back to win the match in the second half.

Jason Byrne got them back into it with a goal from a 58th minute penalty before Richie Baker levelled ten minutes later.

The momentum remained with the league leaders and Jamie Harris headed them in front from Ollie Cahill's cross on 74 minutes before Byrne sealed it with his 18th goal of the season three minutes later.
