Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after an overnight assault left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after an overnight assault left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

The 38-year-old was attacked outside a bar in Killyclogher near Omagh in County Tyrone at around 1.40am this morning.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
