IFA to implement three-year equality programme

The Irish Farmers Association is to implement a three-year equality programme to increase participation by women farmers in decision-making within the association.

The Irish Farmers Association is to implement a three-year equality programme to increase participation by women farmers in decision-making within the association.

The IFA is to receive 75% funding for the initiative.

At present, women only account for 5% of senior management positions in the private and public sector.
