Every now and then there's a story that restores your faith in humanity.
This is one of those.
Little Miles Scott, a five-year old from northern California, has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia since he was 20 months old.
This is Miles. He likes Batman.

Currently in remission, with his last bout of chemotherapy having wound up in June, Miles is a huge fan of the caped crusader.
So much so, that his one biggest wish was to be Batman for a day.
Enter the Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation, who decided that Miles' dream should come true.

And enter the people of that great city of San Francisco, who have pulled together today to make #SFBatkid the star of the show.
First up, Batkid left the city's Union Square in one of two Batmobiles this morning. The vehicles — two black Lamborghinis with Batman decals — were surrounded by media and onlookers.

Batkid's first caper was rescuing a damsel in distress from cable car tracks.
It looks like the work of The Riddler.
