Man arrested after Dublin cocaine seizure

Customs officers in Dublin Airport have arrested a 42-year-old man following the seizure of two kilos of cocaine earlier today.

Customs officers in Dublin Airport have arrested a 42-year-old man following the seizure of two kilos of cocaine earlier today.

The drugs were found concealed in luggage belonging to the man, who had arrived from the West Indies via Amsterdam. Customs said the find was made as a result of routine profiling.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €200,000.
