A 36-year-old motorcyclist died when he collided with a car at Coneykeare, Leighlinbridge in Co Carlow last night.

A 36-year-old motorcyclist died when he collided with a car at Coneykeare, Leighlinbridge in Co Carlow last night.

The accident happened at 8.40pm on the main Carlow to Kilkenny Road.

The man, who was from Co Carlow, has not yet been named.
