Policemen hurt in attack on Israeli military post

Palestinians opened fire on an Israeli military post near a shrine in the West Bank city of Hebron today, wounding two border policemen, the Israeli army said.

Palestinians opened fire on an Israeli military post near a shrine in the West Bank city of Hebron today, wounding two border policemen, the Israeli army said.

They were guarding the Tomb of the Patriachs, a shrine revered by Muslims and Jews.

One of the border policemen was seriously wounded, the army said.
