Gardaí in Waterford have released a man in his 30s who was arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old man in the city on Saturday.

Gardaí in Waterford have released a man in his 30s who was arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old man in the city on Saturday.

Joseph Cummins, from Cairnwood in Tramore, died after he was attacked in a house on the Lower Grange Road.

A post mortem carried out yesterday confirmed he died as a result of a single stab wound.
