Mother and daughter escape injury in Limerick gun attack

A mother and her teenage daughter have escaped injury in an overnight gun attack on a house in Limerick.

A mother and her teenage daughter have escaped injury in an overnight gun attack on a house in Limerick.

Up to nine shots were fired through the door and windows of the house in the Hilltop estate on St Patrick's Road just after midnight.

Nobody was injured.

The house is being examined by forensic experts today.
