Vieri cleared of making racist comments
UEFA have cleared Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri of making racist comments towards Newcastle’s Lomana LuaLua in the Champions League clash between the sides on March 11.
LuaLua alleged the Italian international had racially abused him and the match referee subsequently reported the incident to the game’s European governing body.
But UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body announced there was no case to answer.
