Belfast: 25-year-old man shot in attempted murder

The PSNI have said that they are treating a shooting in west Belfast last night as attempted murder.

The PSNI have said that they are treating a shooting in west Belfast last night as attempted murder.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the shoulder at St James Avenue at around 8.45pm.

The victim is being treated in hospital but it is understood that his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police say they believe up to three men, armed with a shotgun, were involved in the attack.
