The Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism is to receive €390m for its projects next year.

The Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism is to receive €390m for its projects next year.

Tourism is to receive more than €30m, the highest figure for the industry in the history of the State.

There is a €112m provision for Sport, while funding for Arts has dropped to €44m.

Minister John O'Donoghue has welcomed the allocation.
