Truckers Delight, fourth over the course on Tuesday, took the opening the Guinness Handicap Hurdle at Galway.
The 11-2 joint-favourite stormed to an eight-length success over Ringned with his market rival Arkendale a further length and three-quarters back in third.
Trained by John Joseph Hanlon, the seven-year-old moved into third place under Patrick Mullins at the second last and led at the final flight before going on to win in good style.
