A little girl got stuck inside a theme park's grabber machine after climbing inside to get a toy.

The youngster got trapped in the device at Thorpe Park in Surrey, south east England, after becoming frustrated while attempting to win one of the cuddly toys inside.

While her parents panicked, the little one remained calm throughout and was eventually freed when staff unlocked a side door.

Passerby Nicola Swift – who was at the theme park with her two kids – told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “The little girl in the grabber machine wasn’t making a sound but the father seemed quite worried.

“There were a lot of people standing around watching but I don’t think the father spoke English because he wasn’t saying anything.

"He was just looking around for help.

“They were trying to push her back out the flap but they couldn’t do it.

"It was weird because the girl didn’t seem concerned at all.”
