Roscommon bullet investigation ongoing
Gardai are continuing investigations this morning into the delivery of a miniature coffin and bullet to the home of the Roscommon County Manager, John Tiernan.
The package arrived at Mr Tiernan's home near Athlone on Christmas Eve.
The details of a letter contained in the package have not been released.
It's understood that An Post workers have been questioned in efforts to identify the source of the package.
Gardai have refused to comment on possible motives behind the incident.
