Police in the North have confirmed that a suspicious device found in Belfast this morning was a small viable explosive device.

Police in the North have confirmed that a suspicious device found in Belfast this morning was a small viable explosive device.

The British Army bomb disposal squad have now taken it away for further examination.

The Dublin to Belfast train service was suspended for a time earlier, but is now said to be back up and running.
