Kylie Minogue is working on a book to hit the shops in time for Christmas.
But she says it's not her life story.
Her long-time artistic director William Baker is the main author of the coffee table book called La La La.
It will also feature anecdotes written by Kylie herself.
"I guarantee you will be laughing. The text is very funny," she told her official website.
Kylie says it is not the right time for her to be writing her autobiography.
"If it ever happens, it will not be happening now," she said.
"There are so many stories, so many people, so much history that I just imagine it to be impossible to reduce that to a readable book."
Kylie is currently doing a 12-date tour of her native Australia, where she has been draping herself in the national flag on stage.
She has surprised many by staying at the Sydney hotel where her former lover Michael Hutchence killed himself, reports The Sun.
The INXS singer was found hanged in the Stamford Plaza in Sydney's Double Bay in 1997.
The hotel was called the Ritz Carlton at the time of Michael's death.
