Billings 'never expected' county final
Dave Billings has revealed the extent of his feelings for St Vincent's despite landing a crushing blow on them as UCD boss in Sunday's Dublin SFC decider.
Billings is a Vincent's legend from the 1970s and picked up six county football titles as well as three hurling titles as a player with the club.
Reflecting on the 0-16 to 1-6 win over his beloved Vincent's, he said: "I had great times as a Vincent's player and I never expected that I'd be going up against them in a county final.
"I think it'll definitely be a once off thing."
