Transdev 'in resolution mode' for fresh Luas talks

Luas operator Transdev Ireland has agreed not to go ahead with controversial plans to run a bus service for passengers during a planned strike on St Patricks Day.

The move came after the Workplace Relations Commission invited Transdev and SIPTU to take part in fresh talks tomorrow.

Transdev says it's agreed to the talks and the company's Managing Director Gerry Madden said they were "in resolution mode"

The WRC says it expects both parties to engage constructively to resolve the dispute and prevent more disruption for the general public.
