A new publication is to provide a complete and authoritative guide to the fast-growing digital media sector.

The Digital Media Services Directory, which is due for publication in October 2002, will provide Ireland with a targeted sector specific guide to digital media in Ireland.

The directory is divided into two sections. The first section will contain a series of articles written by leading figures and journalists from the digital media industry. The second will consist of companies operating in this sector, divided into fourteen categories.

Listing over 500 organisations the directory will be circulated to key individuals and companies via our database, and the top 1,000 companies as identified by Business and Finance. It will also be distributed through the domestic and international offices of IDA/Enterprise Ireland, as well as being published online.

Industry support for the directory is growing rapidly with IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, the Digital Hub and Perfect World partnering with Digital Media Intelligence to produce the directory.

Samara McCarthy, of the IDA said: “There is an increasing need for a comprehensive reference source of companies in Ireland that are involved in the area of digital media. IDA is pleased to support the production of a digital media services directory that supports these requirements."
