Up to 80 additional beds are being provided for homeless people in Dublin.

The Dublin Regional Homeless Executive says the beds - and relevant supports - are due to be phased in before September.

The Irish Times reports the Executive also hopes to provide 70 new units of emergency accommodation for homeless families.
