Several Irish athletes are in action in a range of events at the Beijing Olympics today.
This morning's sailing events have been postponed due to unsuitable weather, affecting a string of Irish competitors.
However, rowers Paul Griffin, Richard Archibald, Gearoid Towey, Cathal Moynihan will be taking part in the men's lightweight four semi-finals at 9.20am Irish time.
Cormac Folan, Jonno Devlin, Sean Casey, Sean O’Neill will also be in action in the men's four 'B' final.
Elsewhere, Cyclist David O'Loughlin will be involved in qualifying for the men's individual pursuit, while showjumper Denis Lynch takes part in the first individual qualifier.
Alistair Cragg will be competing in the heats of the 1500m, Fionnuala Britton and Roisin McGettigan will both be involved in the heats for the 3000m steeplechase and bantamweight boxer John Joe Nevin takes on Badar Uugan Enkhbat of Mongolia.
