Man's body found in Co Sligo

Gardai in Co Sligo are investigating the discovery of a man's body in the Calry area last night.

Gardai in Co Sligo are investigating the discovery of a man's body in the Calry area last night.

The body is believed to be that of 51-year-old Patrick Le Brun, a French national who has been missing from Sligo General Hospital since December 30.

Mr Le Brun was brought to the hospital the previous day after sustaining injuries on board a trawler in Killybegs, Co Donegal.

A post mortem will be carried out later today to determine the cause of death.
