Arsenal put their qualification ambitions for the knockout stages of the Champions League in severe jeopardy with an astonishing litany of missed chances in a one-sided Group G clash with CSKA Moscow at the Emirates Stadium.

The misfiring Gunners almost reached double figures in spurning chance after gilt-edged chance in an encounter they dominated – with Thierry Henry, who was booked in the second minute for a reckless tackle, among the chief culprits.

Robin van Persie, Tomas Rosicky, Alex Hleb also figured among the players to waste chances.
