AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident Ronaldo will remain at the club despite an interest from Brazilian club Flamengo.

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident Ronaldo will remain at the club despite an interest from Brazilian club Flamengo.

The 31-year-old, who is under contract with the Rossoneri outfit until the summer, has been linked with a return to Brazil.

Ronaldo has struggled with a muscular problem since the summer and has made just one appearance for Milan this season.

“Ronaldo is well,” said Ancelotti. “His condition has drastically improved and hence, he is happier.

“In any case there’s no need to clarify his future between him and the club, he wants to remain at Milan.”
