Thousands of euro worth of paintings that once hung on the walls of Anglo Irish Bank will be auctioned later.
The oil paintings, watercolours and prints are being offered by Adams Auctioneers on instruction by the liquidators of IBRC.
The impressive collection of more than 130 lots includes work from artists Louis le Brocquy, Felim Egan and Pauline Bewick.
The most valuable work is an oil canvas from Stephen McKenna estimated to be worth between €8-12,000.
The collection also includes a monumental 305 centimetre panoramic birds-eye view of Cork city by artist Kevin Sanquest.
