Detectives in Cork are investigating an overnight petrol bomb attack on a Garda station in the Blackrock area.

Detectives in Cork are investigating an overnight petrol bomb attack on a Garda station in the Blackrock area.

Five devices were thrown at the station just before midnight, sparking a small fire that was quickly extinguished by gardaí on duty.

Nobody was injured and no damage was caused to the building.
