A four-year-old girl has been killed in a road accident in Limerick.

A four-year-old girl has been killed in a road accident in Limerick.

Gardai said it appears she was hit by a lorry as it was reversing.

The accident happened at around 4pm on the Shanabooly Rd on the northside of the city.
