Gardai appeal for information on mother
Gardai in Dublin are appealing for help in locating the mother of a baby girl whose body was found on Sandymount beach on Sunday last.
The infant was about one week old and was found dead in a canvas sports bag wrapped in a towel and rug.
Gardai are appealing for the mother to come forward because they believe she is in need of medical assistance.
The Gardai are assuring the mother that she will be treated with the upmost sensitivity.
