Dublin's Liffey Swim takes place today

The 84th Liffey Swim takes place in Dublin today. The swimmers, aged between 12 and 71, are due to start from Watling Street Bridge at 3.30pm this afternoon.

The 84th Liffey Swim takes place in Dublin today. The swimmers, aged between 12 and 71, are due to start from Watling Street Bridge at 3.30pm this afternoon.

Dublin City Council has sponsored the race this year, and a commentary system has been installed at Custom House Quay for the race.

Olympian Sarah Keane is one of the 102 female competitors taking part, the largest female participation in the event since its inception.
