From Windsor to Westeros: Elizabeth II is heading to Game of Thrones

Move over Cersei! There’s a new Queen coming to town.

And while Buckingham Palace is a little safer than King’s Landing, we bet Elizabeth II would be more than a match for the Lannisters and their wily ways.

Think of all her years of experience dealing with conniving politicians, scandal and family feuds - she would take the Iron Throne within a week.

We can already see it...

What a badass.

The Queen, accompanied by Prince Philip, will be heading to the Belfast set of 'Game of Thrones' as part of her tour to Northern Ireland next week. The three-day-trip will take place from June 23-25th.

If Elizabeth II was going to be a character in 'Game of Thrones', her house sigil would HAVE to be a corgi.

How cute would that be?
