A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a truck in Dublin.

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a truck in Dublin.

The incident happened on Dorset Street in the city centre at around 11am this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene and the pedestrian has been taken to the Mater Hospital.

The bus lane remains blocked outbound at the Dorset Street / Granby Row junction.
