Liam Lawlor is due back in the High Court today.

Liam Lawlor is due back in the High Court today.

The Dublin West TD was stood down by Justice Fergus Flood last month after he refused to answer certain questions about his credit card accounts and other matters.

The tribunal was told that Mr Lawlor had business dealings in Prague, Liechtenstein and London among many locations. He later faced questions about his credit card accounts.

Mr Lawlor told John Gallagher, senior council, that his credit card details were none of his business.

Justice Flood got angry and said that he would now refer Mr Lawlor's lack of co-operation to the High Court.

If the court decides that Mr Lawlor is in contempt, he could face a term in jail.
