More tests requested on man's body found in west Cork

Further tests are expected to be carried out on the body of a man found dead in Cork.

Further tests are expected to be carried out on the body of a man found dead in Cork.

The 65-year-old was discovered at an apartment in Glandore on Sunday morning. He has been named locally as Stanley Giles, who was originally from Rosscarbery.

A post mortem was carried out on his remains yesterday, and another round of tests has been requested.

Gardaí have also appealed to the public for any information on Mr Giles' last known movements.
