The European Commission is making €2.6m available to 432 former employees of the Talk Talk broadband service provider in Waterford.

The European Commission is making €2.6m available to 432 former employees of the Talk Talk broadband service provider in Waterford.

The money is being paid from a special globalisation fund set up to compensate workers made redundant from changing world trade patterns.

Talk Talk closed in October of last year with the loss of 575 jobs.
