Farmers angry at the proposed reforms to the European Common Agriculture Policy will hold a protest at Dublin Castle today to coincide with the visit of the EU Commissioner Dacian Ciolo.

Farmers angry at the proposed reforms to the European Common Agriculture Policy will hold a protest at Dublin Castle today to coincide with the visit of the EU Commissioner Dacian Ciolo.

Mr Ciolo is meeting with the Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney to discuss the current state of play in the CAP negotiations.

The Irish Farmers Association is warning that proposed reforms to CAP could deliver a potentially fatal blow to the Irish agriculture sector.
