Norwich striker Darren Huckerby has been named the Division One Umbro Isotonic Player of the Season.
Huckerby adds the official award of The Football League to the PFA Fans’ Division One player of the year award he won last month.
The 28-year-old former Manchester City star has had a huge impact on Norwich’s championship-winning campaign – scoring 13 goals and setting up many more - after joining the Canaries on a permanent deal on St Stephen's Day 2003 after a successful three-month loan spell.
Football League communications executive Ian Christon said: “Darren Huckerby has had a major part to play in Norwich City’s hugely successful season.
“His pace and dribbling ability has caused havoc among Division One defences, and he has either scored and created goals in nearly every game.”
The Division Two award was won by Plymouth defender Graham Coughlan while midfielder Michael McIndoe of Doncaster clinched the Division Three title.
