Marin Cilic shocked world number two Rafael Nadal at the Beijing Open to set up a final showdown with Novak Djokovic tomorrow.

Eighth seed Cilic needed just 83 minutes to beat his Spanish opponent 6-1 6-3, breaking Nadal five times during the match.

It was the first meeting between the pair, and the Croatian will be hoping to claim his fourth ATP Tour title in tomorrow’s final against Djokovic.

The second-seeded Serbian also won in straight sets in the semi-finals, seeing off Sweden’s Robin Soderling 6-3 6-3.

Djokovic has won all three of his previous meetings with Cilic.
