Fourth man charged with Mary-Ann murder

Police investigating the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Mary-Ann Leneghan today charged a fourth man with murder.

Llewellyn Olemide Adams, 23, was charged with murder, attempted murder and kidnap by officrs this afternoon, Thames Valley police said.

The charges follow an appearance at Reading Magistrates Court this morning in which two men, 19-year-old Adrian Thomas of Battersea, south London, and 18-year-old Indrit Krasniqi were remanded in custody also charged with murder, kidnap and attempting to murder Mary-Ann, whose father is from Co Mayo, and her 18-year-old friend.

A fourth man, 21-year-old Jamaile Morally, of Balham, south London, was also remanded in custody by Reading Magistrates on Saturday charged with murder, attempted murder, kidnap and rape.

Adams is due to appear before Reading Magistrates Court tomorrow while the three other men will all appear at Reading Crown Court on Thursday.
