A cyclist has died after being struck by a truck in Dublin.

A cyclist has died after being struck by a truck in Dublin.

It happened at about 8.40am this morning on the Frascati Road in Blackrock.

The victim - who was in her mid twenties - was removed to St Vincent's Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The road has since re-opened and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward
