Airtricity League round-up: Cork miss chance to close in on Dundalk as Derry take second spot

Cork City have missed-out on a chance to shrink Dundalk's lead at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division.

The Leesiders were held to a scoreless draw by Bohemians tonight at Turner's Cross.

That slip-up by Cork means that Derry City have now moved into second-place after a 5-0 win over their hosts Finn Harps in their north-west derby.

Aaron McEneff (2), Nathan Boyle, Lukas Schubert and Keith Ward got the goals.

Elsewhere, Sligo Rovers came from a goal down to beat Shamrock Rovers 3-2, St Pat's were 1-0 winners over Galway United while Wexford Youths beat Longford Town 2-1.

In the First Division tonight, Waterford United beat Shelbourne 2-1 while UCD and Drogheda played-out a 1-1 draw.
