Windy Celebrity quitter Harvey to propose to Emma B

Brian Harvey plans to propose to model girlfriend Emma B following his jungle walk-out.

The former East 17 star quit I’m a Celebrity after a row with Janet Street-Porter over his flatulence.

The 30-year-old was reunited with his girlfriend after leaving the jungle - and later spoke of their plans to wed.

Brian said his traumatic time in the jungle made him realise how much he loved 24-year-old Emma.

He told the Daily Star: “Emma has stood by me through so much. I decided it was time to make things more permanent between us. But I want to do it right.

“I recently bought her a huge sparkler, but I didn’t stage any fancy proposal. Now I am going to do it the old fashioned way by asking her dad for her hand in marriage.”

A row between the singer and journalist Janet was sparked when he broke wind close to her as she cooked dinner.

She shouted at him – and he responded by packing his bags and storming out of the camp.

Janet told him: “Don’t do that when we are cooking. It is so inappropriate.” A furious Brian retorted: “Don’t keep f**ing telling me what to do. If I want to fart I will fart. We are outdoors.”

The star blamed the jungle diet of beans for his flatulence.

He ranted at Janet: “Just because you think it is wrong, doesn’t mean everyone else thinks it is wrong.” He told her: “I take it very personally because you know there are 16 million people watching.”

Janet retorted: “I also know that 16 million people probably think it is a bit gross to be farting where people are trying to cook.”

“What, 16 million people don’t fart Janet?” replied Brian.

The row was the final straw for 30-year-old Brian, who had complained bitterly about being plagued by flies during his time in the jungle.

The pop star found it tough in the camp from day one. When he arrived in Australia he learned that his grandmother had died. He decided to carry on with the show and entered the jungle a day late.

He told the Star that the jungle diet was one of the worst things about the experience.

“I had a turbulent week and it has made me really think about things. I lost my gran. I loved her to bits,” he said.

“Then I went on this TV show and had my face stuck in a tank with a million bloody flies up my nose.”

Former All Saint Natalie Appleton and model Sophie Anderton were both voted to take part in the next Bushtucker Trial – a bug-eating game of snap.
