Stevie Wonder set to close out Bestival

Legendary soul singer Stevie Wonder will be the closing act today of the last major UK music festival of the year.

More than 50,000 revellers have headed to the Isle of Wight for Bestival, one of the quirkiest events on the summer music scene.

Thousands of people got dressed up in fancy dress yesterday in the theme of wildlife for the event's famed dressing-up parade.

The first full day of the event was headlined by Florence and The Machine while New Order took the top slot on the main stage last night.

Bestival is made up of more than 20 stages with other acts including Friendly Fires, Alt-J, The xx, Two Door Cinema Club, Emeli Sande, Bat for Lashes, Orbital, Miike Snow and Azealia Banks.

The sell-out event at Robin Hill Country Park is the first UK festival to be streamed live on YouTube.
