A British couple cancelled their £7,500 (€9,286) honeymoon to pay for their pet dog to have a life-saving operation.
Claire and Ceri Morgan were due to fly to Las Vegas to celebrate their wedding but their dreams were dashed when they discovered their pet bulldog Teeto had cancer, and they decided to put him before their own enjoyment.
Ceri is quoted by the South Wales Evening Post as saying: "We were looking forward to our dream honeymoon but Teeto had to come first.
"He's such a special dog, we had no hesitation. We had to use the money for his vets bills."
The couple also made an 80-mile trip from their home in South Wales every three weeks for the pooch to have chemotherapy.
