Manager Glenn Ryan has pencilled him in at full-forward for the Croke Park clash (throw-in 7pm). McCormack's availability is balanced up by the injury-enforced loss of David Barden who is nursing ankle ligament damage.

McCormack has scored 0-36 in his five league outings this season. His efforts have helped Longford go through the group phase unbeaten with six wins and a draw.

Ryan has made four other personnel changes to the side that beat Wexford 2-12 to 1-13 at Pearse Park last time out.

Goalkeeper Damien Sheridan, defenders Dermot Brady and Shane Mulligan and midfielder Bernard McElvaney are all back in the side. Michael Quinn, one of Longford's goal scorers in the last game, is unfortunate to miss out along with James McGivney.

Meanwhile, Wexford boss Jason Ryan has made a raft of changes to his starting line-up. Ciaran Lyng, who hit 1-4 against Longford three weeks ago, is the only forward to be retained.

There are nine alterations in all, with Rob Tierney and Adrian Flynn returning in defence, and Andrew Shore and Daithi Waters pairing up in midfield.

Ryan will be expecting a steady rate of scoring from an attack bolstered by Redmond Barry, Ben Brosnan, Colm Morris, Eric Bradley and PJ Banville.
